Abstract
The target population of this study are home health long-term care workers who work for older adults in long-term care settings in Hapcheon, Jinju, Jeochang, Sacheon of Kyung-nam Province. To test the differences of each factor, ANOVA and t-test were used. When ANOVA is statistically significant, Fisher LSD was used. To test the effect on the job stress and job satisfaction, hierarchical regressions were used. To test the degree of effectiveness of each independent variable, ¥â was used. The research results indicate that there are statistically significant differences of job stress by education, volunteer experience and workers¡¯ health. Also, there are statistically significant differences of job satisfaction by workers¡¯ age, education and health. There are differences of job stress by health care receivers ¡®gender and whether or not they are in the family. Also, there are differences of job stress by wage and the distance to the work place. There are differences of job satisfaction as a result of wage, work hours, distance to work and reeducation. There are statistically significant negative effects of workers¡¯ age, education, family members, wage, distance to work place and reeducation on job stress. Whether or not they reside with other family members affect the level of stress within the job. Also, when there is an increase of worker¡¯s education, health and wage there are statistically significant positive effects. However, when work hours and distance to work increase, there is a statistically significant negative effect on job satisfaction.
